Once you've purchased or already own a domain, go to your site settings and click "Connect Domain." We'll ask you to choose between two options:

• • Change your nameservers to Landingsite (easiest option) – Our AI can help make DNS changes for you automatically
• • Keep your own DNS – You'll manually update DNS records with your domain provider (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)

We'll show you exactly which records to add based on your choice.

If you're changing your nameservers to Landingsite, our AI can manage your DNS records for you automatically – no manual setup needed!

If you prefer to keep your own DNS, you'll need to add either:

• • A Record: Points to our server IP address (we'll provide this)
• • CNAME Record: Points to our hosting (we'll provide this too)

We'll give you step-by-step instructions in your dashboard when you connect your domain.

DNS changes take 24-48 hours to propagate across the internet. If you just updated your DNS records, give it some time. You can check the status in your dashboard.

If it's been longer than 48 hours, email us at [email protected] and we'll take a look.

This usually happens when your email provider (like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365) uses certain DNS records. Don't worry – you can have both!

If you're using Landingsite nameservers, just ask our AI to add your email provider's DNS records and we'll set them up for you. If you're managing your own DNS, email us at [email protected] with your domain name and email provider, and we'll help you set it up correctly.

Once you're happy with your site and you're on a paid plan (Basic or Pro), click the "Publish" button in your dashboard. You'll need to add a custom domain first before you can publish. Free plans can create and edit sites but cannot publish.

We automatically provision SSL certificates for all published sites. This takes 24-48 hours after your DNS is set up correctly. Once it's ready, your site will show the secure padlock icon in browsers.
