Build and Transfer Ownership
Full-Service Client Management
This is for people who want to build websites for their clients and then transfer ownership so the client can manage it themselves. Landingsite.ai handles payment processing and deposits funds directly to your bank account via Stripe Connect.
Build the website for the client using the Landingsite.ai platform. You pay for the subscription during the build process (your client takes over the subscription once they claim the website).
Go to the website's Settings and click the Client Sharing tab.
Enter your one-time build fee (required) and an optional monthly maintenance fee. The one-time fee is what your client pays you for building the site. The monthly maintenance fee is optional—if they choose to pay it, you'll stay on as a team member with editing access to help with ongoing updates.
Note: Landingsite.ai takes a 30% platform fee from your one-time build fee and any monthly maintenance fees. You receive the remaining 70%.
Example: If you charge a $500 build fee + $100/month maintenance fee, you'll receive $350 for the build + $70/month for maintenance after the 30% platform fee.
Click Create Client Link, copy the link, and send it to your client.
Your client clicks the link and sees a preview of their website with an option to claim it.
Your client gets 5 free edits to test the Landingsite.ai platform before committing.
When they upgrade, they'll see a checkout page showing: your one-time build fee, your monthly maintenance fee (optional—they can accept or decline), and the Landingsite.ai subscription fee.
Once they pay, ownership transfers to them. If they declined your monthly maintenance fee, your work is complete. If they accepted it, you remain as a team member and can continue helping with edits. Landingsite.ai deposits your earnings to your bank via Stripe Connect.
Before you can receive payments, you'll need to connect your bank account through Stripe Connect. We'll guide you through this simple setup process.

Common questions about the Website Handover Agency model
This is for people who want to build websites for their clients and manage the website for the client. The client will have no knowledge of Landingsite.ai and only interact with you directly so you can make changes for them. You will be the one to handle the billing and client relationship.
Build the website for the client using the Landingsite.ai platform. You pay for the Landingsite.ai subscription to build and host your client's website.
During development, publish the website to a subdomain you own for client review. For example, if your agency website is www.youragency.com, you would publish to client.youragency.com. This keeps Landingsite.ai invisible to your client during the review process.
Once your client approves the website, send them an invoice using your own payment platform (like Stripe, PayPal, or any invoicing tool). You set your own pricing for the build and any ongoing maintenance fees.
After receiving payment, purchase your client's final domain (either through Landingsite.ai or any domain registrar) and publish the website to that domain.
For ongoing maintenance, your client contacts you directly when they need changes. You make the edits for them using the Landingsite.ai platform and bill them according to your own pricing structure.
